Alone Again

Relationships are hard to mend when they begin to fall apart. Often we carry our problems with us from one relationship to the next. When things go sour and nothing seems right, we fall into darkness and despair. And we find ourselves alone... again.

 Fragile House of Clay

We may all see something different here. I see a Greek sculpture that reminds me of the futility of life. Even in our strength there is weakness. These humble bodies don't last forever. I remember the day I stooped without thinking, to pick up a lead weight. I immediately realized I had done the right thing... the wrong way. My back will never be the same.
How many choices do we make every day without thinking of the consequences? How many times have those split second choices shattered our lives forever? Strength does not equate immortality. We each live in a fragile house of clay.

 Peaceful Afternoon Ride

 Safe in His Hands

Don't you long to be cuddled in the hands of God? Wouldn't it be great if He would swoop us up and hold us tight. When we put our trust in Him, He does just that. Not physically of course but He cares for us as His little children and tenderly watches over our every move. With Him as our Father we are truly safe in His hands.

Success Pool

"Success Pool" is my statement about the many people who try to get to the top by using other people. They splash and sputter, wiggle and squirm to try to snatch the bread away from the others. They never seem to get enough of being the "big fish" in the pool, and they don't seem to care who they put under in the process.
