His Revealing Light

When we look at ourselves in light of what we see around us, we're not that bad. So what is all this stuff about sin? We're basically good people aren't we?
But when we look at God and begin to realize His purity and holiness, we begin to see ourselves as we truly are... filthy, entangled in our own world of grime and filth. His presence reveals our secret thoughts, attitudes and actions. Nothing can be hidden from His revealing light.

Dock Side Impressions

The warm sun on your face, the smell of the waterfront, the sound of water lapping up on the piers, the gentle roll and bump of nearby boats, the splendor of color as the light dances on the surface of the water; this all gives us wonderful memories of dock side impressions.

Luminous Upstart

You can almost hear it stretching, reaching for the sky. Life for this young upstart has just begun. It has years of growth and struggle ahead of it. Survival will depend on its strength and endurance. God, grant this young life many years of rich growth and may he give shelter to all who seek refuge in his arms.

 Morning Dew Drop

In the still morning light the pools along the creek lie silent and tranquil. Suddenly a dew drop from an overhanging branch radiates across the surface of the water.

 

The waterfront is a great place to visit. Seagulls flutter over head. The shoring posts and rails reveal that the gulls have perched there many times. In the distance you can see a pier jutting into the bay. It seems like it goes out forever.

Lily Pond

Ripples lapping at the pond's edge leave the lily pads rocking in the wake. This is the home of many a frog and fish and water bugs of all types. These plants provide shelter and protection for many that lurk beneath their sprawling leaves. In due season, this will be a floating flower garden, giving a whole new dimension to the lily pond.
